Original Georgetown doors

Both vestibule and exterior door. The 1st time we did these the customer just wanted the doors restore with no finish.3 short years later the doors began warping, 1/8 veneers began popping. Now we're doing them the right way.
The door is early 1800s & hangs of a nice row brink home

This one came from India. No idea how old. Client wanted the patina. I hid a sliding track in the ceiling. I had to cut 5/8 eighths of an inch off the bottom of the door. Nerve wracking when there is only one in the world. mtmuley

Ha. That's what I used. Had to cut through the flush bolt hardware on the bottom. mtmuley

I’ve cut a bunch of knotty alder doors with my worm drive, but I could just order another one if I screwed up. I don’t blame you for being nervous.
