Got the last week in August to do some fly fishing, hiking and sightseeing between tags... Anyone got recommendations on spots to check out between Denver and Gunnison? Feel free to PM if that would be better. Thanks in advance for any input!

the arkansas is fun to fish. be prepared to throw elbows and be careful not to hook a rafter though.
that's a pretty drive. plenty of places to cast a line up in south park too. otto's in fairplay is a great lunch spot, mccals has great burgers.
what kind of free time are you looking at? there's incredible amounts of hiking, peak bagging, alpine fly fishing etc to be had all along that route/drive.
