    Same general area for sure. This was the only elk we say on this trip though. Didn't here a peep the whole night before and first day. snuck in on him silentlu.

    hey man.. im headed to montana next week to hunt with my brother.. we are headed to the crazy mountains.. my brother has been scouting all summer up there and has located a bunch of bulls.. were the elk you seen/heard still in the same area you shouted them in..were they very vocal?? If you don't mind me asking..what unit were you in?? thanks
