Happy Application Season! So I have a few questions regarding Elk Unit 89...if anyone knows anything about this unit or area of Wyoming. I’ve done a ton of research such as: calling the biologist (still waiting on call back), read over job completion reports, harvest data, gohunt, onx, etc. Looking to do a first time archery elk hunt, my son and I have elk hunted a couple times in other areas but are still learning and are looking for our first bulls. Does anyone know what the pressure for archery season would be compared to gun season In this unit? Anyone have any experience with this unit..you can PM me. Thanks

Hunted 85 a couple years ago. 89 seemed to have a lot more traffic, trucks and atv. Plans on burning shoe leather to get away from the roads.
