Used to have to travel in and out of Vegas for work further north. Not really a thrill, just a big city. First time I ever experienced a summer temp of 114 was there on my last trip. Might go there once for a show with my wife, but we don't like staying up and don't gamble.

I’ll be different. I like to go every couple years. But didn’t go until we were probably in our 50s red rock canyon, Hoover dam etc there are things to see and do. One place I didn’t really care for was Tahoe. We were in Vegas for New Year’s Eve about 5 years ago,it was crazy

I had never been to Vegas before last year. The wife and I went to see George Strait. Had a blast.

If I never go there again it’d be ok, or if I continued to visit at the same cadence of once every 37 years that would work too.

This is basically how I’ve felt about any urban hellscape I’ve visited in my life - many of which - L.A., Orlando, Chicago, Seattle - seemed far worse places than Vegas.

Never been. With my partying days mostly behind, I doubt I’ll ever go. I went to Miami when I was 22. That’s close enough for me.

We were in Saint George earlier this week. We drove down to Vegas one day. Took the kids to Dave and Busters and the wife to Trader Joe’s. Everyone enjoyed it. If you’ve never had chocolate and caramel filled churros from Dave and Busters, do yourself a favor and get some.

I had a blast first time I went to Vegas.

Within the first hour I saw a 70's retro band with 4 foot afros, a guy pepper sprayed, another hit with a taser, 2 drunk college kids passed out in their car, heads out the window with puke down both doors...

I mean, name me another place where you see that in your first hour...

It was a lot different in the 60's. We would stop on our way to Utah to deer hunt. I was just a kid. There wasn't much there but I think it was the Nugget had a big buck contest and was hunter friendly. Big breakfast and slots with silver dollars. The cocktail waitresses were a real eye opener for a young teen. It was a western town without all the glitz like now.
