Who am I? I'm a lurker. Been around these boards for a long time, never contributed much mainly because as a Minnesotan who gets out West once a year, I didn't feel I had the experience or knowledge to be helpful. Nevertheless, I'm back again, this time to hopefully engage more fully on the forum. So to answer the original question, I'm a Minnesotan by birth. I lived and hunted in AK for 9 years before moving back to the North Star state, not all that far from Randy's hometown in the northwoods. These days I get out West once a year for deer or elk or antelope, and I enjoy the time in the mountains immensely. My 12 year old decided he finally has an interest in hunting, so hopefully we'll get to spend many weeks in hunting camp together over the next many years, God willing. And it appears my 9 year old daughter is taking an interest as well, so that would be even better. And while I'm not out there, I'll try to be more present here to learn and to share from others adventures.
