Well here is a report from Kansas. It is hot, it has been wet and the deer are still acting like Ninjas not wanting to be seen. Most fields except milo have been cut/picked and the Winter Wheat is coming along nice but there have been very few deer sightings as of late. Some fighting, new scrapes and a grunt tells me things are getting closer to the rut but the weather looks to stay in the 70s-80s for the next two weeks during the peak of normal rutting activity. Good luck to those who are out and about. I think I will continue glassing and checking cams but I do not look for much to happen until the 20th-29th.
