That is a solid rifle. I had one that I got with scope and tip-off mount for $100. The rifle shot less than one inch groups at 100 yards.

I should have kept it, but I traded it straight across for a left-hand Savage 7 mag that I shot for 30 years. I had a cop buddy check the serial number for me when I got ready to go to Canada moose hunting and then found out that it was stolen over 30 years ago in Arizona. What was even funnier, was that they wanted it back! I guess that I got my $100 out of it!

I had one of these rifles in 35 Remington a few years ago and sold it and have been looking for a nice one in 30 30 for a long time. We get a nice day I will take it to the range and shoot it.
