I've seen this question posed on multiple forums so I thought I'd share my thoughts here. Sorry for the length, I thought I could tell everything in under 10 mins.

There is lots of tricks to keep costs down when flying. But in the end driving is cheaper if you can afford the extra days of vacation.

Regardless of the species, I prefer to drive for a long list of reasons including getting the meat back. That does not work when I Bowhunting places off shore but I hate flying with my bow.

Good video and good suggestions. I’ve always enjoyed flying way more. Never been tired after 6 hours of air travel vs 34 hours drive time haha. I also found I get about 2-2.5 more days of hunting on my tight schedule, but I’ve never had anything lost by the airlines yet to slow me down either. Knock on wood.
