Here in Northern Utah, the leaves are changing and the elk are bugling. Which also means, the salmon are spawning! Here are some pics from the spawning near Strawberry Reservoir:

Good question - yes, the concrete runway is a funnel for the fish to head to the egg collecting station. Because of the strong population of kokes in Strawberry, the eggs collected at this site help populations in other areas of the state.
