Is this a scam?

After being scammed a couple times unsuccessfully, I have begun asking seller for a totally off the wall picture. I'm not suggesting that this isn't on the up and up but a straight up seller shouldn't have any issues with a weird, off the wall picture. A spoon laying at a specific angle with the item from sale as an example.
