That's going to be a field of shallots and I wish the green stripes were twice as tall. The stripes are wheat, meant as wind protection while the shallots are small, they'll help as long as the wind doesn't test us too much.I am guessing there would be a lot less green left in the field if I were running that tractor.
They shed the scale over the eyelid first. About 4-5 days before they shed the eyelids turn grey, about a day before they shed their eyes will be back to normal. Snakes can’t see and get a little more agitated during his time so you have to be very careful. I have a rattlesnake that is getting to shed, I will see if I can get a picture of it. Also, it’s hard to tell what kind of snake it is from the skin, but you can tell if it’s venomous. A non venomous snake has two rows of scales on its underside from the anal gland to the tip of its tail while a venomous snake only has 1.A snake skin I found in the cow lot. I didn't know they shed their eyeball skin!

Took the scouts back to the slot canyons. 10 miler was earned and fun was had by all.
My ex.wife #2 ?,anyways,she lived 8-9 years in HEALEY.......had the WE'RE NO ANGELS soap company.......think rope was 50 cents extra!!Been thinking about Alaska quite a bit lately. One of my pics from Talkeetna of Denali with a bonus bush plane included.
