Hi,
I am thinking of making the leap from taking my animals to a butcher to doing more at home myself. What lessons learned, suggestions do you all have of grinders, stuffers, etc? Any recommendations on grinders (brand, features, motor size) would be appreciated! Thank you

I was just going to say there was a recent thread on grinders.

I would recommend getting a stuffer if you plan to make much sausage. I don't care for stuffing with a grinder, its a two man job to feed load the hopper and hold the casing. I have a 5lb LEM crank stuffer, works very well.

I love my LEM setups. Not cheap, but always works and are well made.

Their in town for me so it was a no brainer....
