Well I've put it off long enough, and have dangled it out there as trade bait enough with no takers and it's just time to post this up.

For Sale: Savage 116 Stainless in 7mm Rem Mag, bedded into a Bell and Carlson fiberglass stock (at home bed job that actually turned out really well.) Leupold rings and bases, and a Leupold VX-6 2-12x40 scope. The rifle shoot really well with H1000 and Berger 168 gr VLD.

Rifle is still in great shape, I've killed many deer and elk with it, but it's just been sitting in my safe taking up space. Would rather someone use it and enjoy it, and I can use the money for a project.

I have a Savage 116 bedded in a B&C stock. Crazy accurate right out of the box, killed tons (literally) of deer with it. Crazy accurate with 30/06 factory barrel, but I finally shot the barrel out (went to ~1.25 moa), so I spun a Criterion .270 barrel on it at home. The Criterion barrel was pickier to get shooting accurately than the factory barrel, but it is crazy accurate as well.

Point being, these are great rifles that can be updated easily at home if you ever do shoot it out. GREAT scope, as well
