Sorry for the constant stupidity coming out of Utah. I live in the county next to this one. Some of these same "ranchers" sent letters to revoke their grazing permits and not listen to federal agencies. Looks like they changed their tune since the Bundys were arrested. Now te threat of arresting FS employees for doing their job or if they cut permits?
As a side note, the Monroe unit is an amazing elk unit, I've seen these same men at the wildlife board meetings blaming the DWR for elk numbers and demanding they be cut back. The forest service is currently implementing a major aspen regeneration project on this unit and the DWR has agreed to cut elk numbers back but the Forest service made it clear at the beginning of the process elk numbers and cattle grazing would be cut to complete the projects. So now the forest service is actually doing a large project on this unit and they still get bashed. This is getting so very old.
