Rental car prices

Heads up for anyone booking or booked for hunting season the prices seem to be coming back down. I reserved one in April for my Elk hunt in September out of Denver airport. I had it reserved for 880 for 10 days. Checked a few months later and it had blown up to 1600. Checked again today and was down to 640. I canceled and rebooked it. If anyone reserved when it was crazy may be worth checking again.

good reminder. I do that with all car rentals as prices fluctuate quite a bit, even day to day.

Yeah, the crazy prices combined with availability kept me out of Alaska this year.
