Elk shank. Smoked on the grill for a couple hours last night, added onion, a little garlic, 2 tomatoes, stock, little red wine, and spices and braised overnight in the crockpot. Picked the meat off the bones this morning and put it back in until lunch. I plan on crisping it up a bit and we are going to eat it as tacos for lunch.
