Just to follow up on the OV MEAN Pad fitting over the Guidelight MT frame discussion somewhere I lost track. Imugr Image Hosting allows to leave comments under the pictures, so I left my impressions there for my Sawtooth 45 with the addition of the MEAN Pad.
Came about when I ran the Pintler on the first Guidelight frame, and I was having slippage...I even resorted to using a carpet gripper with no-good results.
With the OV MEAN PAD, I don't have to choke my beer gut to prevent slippage. Hell, I even actually loosen the belt and pack stayed where it needs to be. Plus, there's air circulation between my upper and lower back.
