Well, the years about to end, and I didn’t manage to fill any of my tags.
Spring turkey: no dice.
General deer: never even saw a buck.
Fall Bear: ends this Saturday, but I caught COVID over Christmas. Fever, chills, congestion, the works for the past 3 days now. Im hoping it lets up soon, but don’t foresee myself having the energy to hike around the mountains and pack out a bear in the next 3 days.
I still have my fall turkey tag, which runs though JAN 31, so fingers crossed to get that one filled yet.
Nevertheless I still had a good time out there trying to fill these tags, despite my lack of success. Here’s to hoping I’ll get some meat in the freezer in 2023!
