New guy from Mississippi

Hi everyone. I hope I’m doing this right posting an introduction here. I’ve traveled most of the country east of the Rockies building power lines and doing storm recovery work. I’m a lifelong whitetail hunter. I’ve had squirrel dogs and coon dogs in the past. Went on my first elk hunt this year, unit 15 in NM. I absolutely love the west and hope to do a lot more hunting in the years to come. Will be getting the last kid out of high school this year so hopefully will have more hunting funds from this point forward. To try to give my son an earlier start that I got on western hunting we are going to Montana this spring for his senior trip.
