Mystery 300 Savage

Under either the Savage name, or under the Stevens name they once made a very light compact bolt action carbine that was chambered in both the 300 Savage and 250-3000.

The bolt lift denied scope use, iron sights only. Does anybody recall the model number? I am thinking about it as a saddle gun.

Thought so. Handled one a few years ago at a gunshop. Wish I would have brought it home. I feel like it’d go well with my 340c .30/30
