Hey everyone! I'm a hunter from Montana who now lives in BozAngeles. I love the outdoors and frequently find ways to escape civilization. My most recent obsession is hunting. I've hunted with my dad since I was 11, but I've just recently gotten serious about hunting (I let my legs do what the truck used to). I've shot some nice bucks, but haven't punched my elk tag...yet. I'm discovering a few good spots around Bozo and getting to know the land. I'm generally an introvert but I love to go with other folks who are just starting out. Let me know if you have any questions or tips!

Welcome Richard! I am over on the east side of the state. Looks like you may have taken a few mule deer over in my area.

Yeah, the bigger bucks were on a State chunk bordered by private near Plentywood, MT. Through my family connections, I've been lucky enough to meet several landowners and now enjoy about 6000 acres of private land when I can make the trip. I think public land hunts are more gratifying though. That's why I included that little forky in the pack. Hiked him out about 7 miles total, which I will remember long after I've forgotten my private land "shoots."

Ah yeah, there is a great deal of public land up in that country. I am down south in Miles City. I hunt the Custer NF and up around Terry quite a bit.
