McCall zone water status

We're headed into the Idaho McCall zone for the next two weeks...I'm wondering if anyone who hunted there in Sept can provide info on how much water is flowing in the drainages? We're looking at various potential high country campsites and trying to determine if we'll need to be close to lakes and larger streams to find water or if we can expect to find a little flow in pretty much any drainage we encounter.
