Love for the 5mm Remington Rimfire Magnum

[44hunter45]

My range buddy yesterday said he had a chance to pick up an old Remington 592 and would buy it if he found ammo.
Lo and behold Aquila is actually making it. It seems to be perpetually sold out. Whenever they run batch it goes fast.

A family friend had one back in the early 1970's and I thought it was the coolest thing ever.

Cool didn’t even know there was such a thing

Remington quit making the rifles in 1974 and the ammo in 1982. They abandoned a lot of shooters.
Cool there is ammo out there again.

I wish CCI or Federal would go back into the market. Aguila can't keep up. I would even take Hornady if they made it.

If ammo was on more shelves I think a Ruger 77/20 custom would be freakin' awesome.

4D even has the reamers for rent

One of my best friends loves the 5mm. It's his go to for fall turkey.
