iPhone and avi trail cam files

It seems Apple has dropped support for .avi files that most trail cameras use for their videos. What are you guys using to view trail cam videos on your iphones in the field without having to convert the avi files to mov or mp4 on a computer? I have Browning Strike Force cameras from 2016.

VLC for iOS can play avi files when I last checked. I’m using an android tablet these days because i can insert the cards and copy over the files much faster than using BT or some other way.

iPhone is more compaible with MP4 or MOV. I usually convert other videos files like avi, flv, mpg, wmv, mkv, etc to iPhone more supported MP4 with the help of iDealshare VideoGo. This method also works for Android phone or tablet
