Just spent a week chasing elk in Unit 22 just outside Council, Idaho, and saw several big 5x5 mule deer.
It’s my understanding that this is a special draw (60 tags) and I believe the season begins in the next week or two. As a non-resident I won’t be drawing this tag anytime soon and therefore am willing to share details to help those that will be hunting Unit 22 this season. All I ask is that you send me pics if you tag a monster.
