Hound x pit

I just got a pair of half redbone and half pit. Does anyone have any experience with them hunting anything beside hogs? I take a chance on them because the mom who was the pit had a petty good record of killing coyote that come on the property. Even listing for the coyote howling and running them down. I am just interest in seeing if anyone else runs a x like that

I've got one that is a house pet. They are stubborn and mine never took to training. Endless energy and very intelligent. They never forget where they found something and check it every time. Hope it works out for you but just getting them to mind you might take a long time.

That interesting I only had them for two days and they already seem to have good recall

The training might have been more my fault. I was the third owner of the dog and she was already 2 years old when I got her.
