Grangers repel waterproofer

So have some expensive kuiu and sitka stuff that over the years has lost its waterproofing, my clothing gets abused but try to keep it well maintained. The biggest offender of this is my kuiu yukons (which i love) and wear when it turns nasty. The set is over 5 years old and still in great material condition just dont repeal water like they use to. I have always treated all my stuff with nikwax but have noticed it working less and less as garmets get older. So i call kuiu to have some other stuff taken care of and ask them about how to get waterproof back to 100% and told them i use the nikwax line. They said nikwax works but guy recommened something i never heard of: GRANGERS brand of products. Kuiu has great customer service and are just replacing my yukon set but i am thinking i will try the Grangers products this time around on them, has anyone used Grangers' before and have any experiance with it?
