Ok, not me but my mom is.... so I booked her a Flight tonight. Boise to Kotzebue. $1,100 NOn Refundable ticket, No problem becasue she wants to visit my dad up there.

Except....... HE'S IN KING SALMON !!!!!! DOHHhhhhhh, So I called and Played the nice card and although the Alaska air lady was nice, I still had to pay the same fee but she got it fixed for me.

Maybe I should Quit thinknig of Moose/Bou in Kotzebue ....

Tell you mom to stop by in Kotzebue and pay me a visit. Life is better north of the Arctic Circle!

Now the weather report from 33 miles north of the Circle.

We have had very high winds coming from the south for the past 3 days. That means dangerous overflow on the 5 feet of Ice that covers the rivers and sound. The storm was so powerful it opened the frozen sea and we have large stretches of open water where we should have nothing but ice. The old timers tell me that they have never seen anything like this!

Global warming is for real Gorge W Bush, come and see from your self! We normally snow machine on the ice well into late April but this year will be different.
