Hi. I am new to the HuntTalk Forum, but am an avid listener of the podcast and YouTube videos. Love it! Been hunting deer/elk for over 20 years and now its time to get my boys involved......
I have 2 boys of hunting age 10 and 12 and looking to head to Idaho for general deer season this next fall - 2016. They have shot plenty, but never hunted big game. I know there are a ton of general youth/doe tag options in Idaho and just want to give them the best opportunity at any deer the first season out.
Any recommendations on units/areas to consider in Idaho? I am already a member of GoHunt and have been doing some research on the Idaho Fish and Game website. Unit 22 looks like it might be a good option but am open to suggestions.
