Well that’s a wrap for our Wyoming archery hunt this year. Had a blast hanging out with my Dad and brother for the last week. Cooler is empty but we enjoyed burning calories and seeing some beautiful country. We were fortunate to be in elk everyday and actually had them bugling most days. Just couldn’t seal the deal. Had more close encounters with moose than I did elk unfortunately. All in all it was a great trip, learned a little bit more about elk and will hopefully get another chance someday. If it was a little closer to Texas I might try and sneak back up with a rifle but I don’t see that happening

Looks like cool country. Hopefully you can come back for rifle.
 
Ya win some, ya lose some... but this trip doesn’t sound like a loss at all. Great time with family in beautiful country.

I’d have a hard time NOT going back if I were you, but that’s because I live in TN, and TX doesn’t seem that far from WY to me:LOL:
