Well my first application of the year is in. Burning my 13 points going in on a WY wilderness elk hunt. I'm taking my horses from Idaho and going with a buddy who is a resident in WY. It should be a 100% draw with my points. I'm super excited. This has been a dream hunt for a long time. Come on October!!!

Congrats! Had to burn my 10 this year as I just got a place in Casper and will be a resident next year. 10pts was a tough spot to be as it wasn't enough to get out of "average" units. Guess it won't matter next year .

Looks like the max points pool is about cleared of ground floor guys.

Where you burning them?

My first will be going in when I get my social security check. Putting in for moose but don't think I will draw. I only have one preference point and it takes between 4-13 to draw for Laramie River area and close to 24 to draw for Hams Fork Area. Seen moose both places fishing. Never been moose hunting so this will be trial by fire LOL.
