Elk, wyoming 114 gobbled up by 11?

So my daily wyoming game and fish research indicated today that elk area 114 is gone and appears to have been gobbled up by area 11. I don’t see anything noted on the website other than missing boundaries of 114. Still new at all this and wondering if anyone has any intel? As of a couple hours ago OnX still had prior boundaries. I may shoot off an email or three but not 100% sure where to even start. Not that I was even considering area 114 but was looking at general tag in that area and 11 was also on the radar. First western hunt being planned for the 2021 season and this could be my first wrinkle on my intensive excel spreadsheet.

Yes, area 114 has been incorporated into areas 10 and 11. I would recommend calling the WY G&F Laramie Region office, see if the area biologist is available to chat, if you haven't already. They may be able to give you some information on why it was changed.

What Carl said. Just like quotas, season dates and boundaries do occasionally change.

Not a fan and license allocations will change too.
Might contact some Commissioners, I know one that for sure should have all the skinny on this change. He is getting an email from me.
