wolves are killers...they hunt and they kill. not at all like a mountain lion that will kill, and return to the kill site day after day to feed. if a wolf can kill, eat the most nutritious parts, leave the majority and kill again they will. when they get into a herd of easy prey, they take down as many as they can. maybe it's for survival, maybe for fun...who knows. wolves kill...period.

I've seen wolves return to a kill, days after, until the kill was gone. Just sayin.
