Very cool! Tule elk aren't talked about enough, but it's always awesome to hear about a hunt for them. No doubt you busted your butt and put on a heck of a stalk in some arid terrain, but you did it! Congrats!

Being able to see them from miles away definitely has pluses and minuses!

If I had a nickel for everytime this same exact herd busted me, I'd need a second truck to carry my nickels to the bank! The bull groups on the other hand I could have slapped on the backside and ridden back to my truck in comparison! I definitely underestimated how dialed in 50 cows would be to what was happening around them...
