I really hate to let this go, considering I waited about 40 years to finally buy one, so I hope it finds a worthy home. This is a 1990's vintage "B" handle and 50th Anniversary #3 limbs (long) that I purchased new a few years ago. These are 40# limbs and are extremely smooth. This combination makes for a 64" bow. I have modified the original grip to create a slightly lower position, somewhere between the original grip and the grip they now offer called the "hammer" grip. It indexes perfectly in your hand. Bow is plenty fast, pushing my 450 grain arrows at 195 fps. at my 31" draw length. At 31" this bow scales at 50# on my scale.
The quiver is a one-off, custom made for this riser. It's a Eagle Flight 4-arrow leather quiver mounted on aluminum bar stock, attached with knurled knobs. It can easily be removed without unstringing the bow. You won't find another quiver like this one and it is dead quiet when shooting this bow.
String is a Dynaflight 97 flemish with silencers. At 31" it likes 400 spine arrows with 100 or 125 grain points. I can include some Gold Tip wood grain arrows (10 total) for a little extra.
This is an opportunity to own Fred Bear's favorite hunting bow and the pinnacle of his designs. Takes down in seconds without tools.
