AZ Rut Timing

I've heard that rut activity in Arizona moves north to south based on monsoon rains, earlier to later.

Any advice or input on that timing with this years dry weather? I'm picking up my OTC archery tag for January and hopefully every year after as I live in S Nevada. I've also got a Javelina tag in February to try out my traditional bow on.

I'm looking to fill my tag with the first legal buck that gives me the opportunity, and might pack in with my llamas just for the fun of it.
