I picked up Dotty on June of 2010. She was about 2 at that time. She has caught many a lion, a bobcat and a bear for me. She was stubborn on the hunt, but wouldn't trash and hunted till she couldn't walk.

In 2017 or so I think I hurt her back pulling her put of a tree. Later that year, she had her spleen removed. A couple months after that, she was hunting and sliced her abdominal wall open. She pulled through both of those.

She hunted the winter of 18/19, but started really slowing down last summer.

Over the last couple weeks, she has been going down hill fast. This morning, she could not get up. I couldn't move her at all, as every time I tried to move her leg, she yelped in pain.

I had to put her down. She is now buried in the back 40.

Rest in peace Dotty.

Sorry to hear about Dotty, thoughts sent off her and your way. Never a good day when this has to be done . Been through it to many times.

Sorry to hear of your loss. I say it, and people think it is a joke, but I would take my dogs over almost all humans. Peace to you and Dotty
