Had a great week of hunting in CO this September this year with Schism. On the 4th day, we were following a herd up the mountain and got to within 100 yards or so and he started bugling at the bull, raking some trees and making a ruckus. The bull stalled, started to rake a tree on the other side of a little rise and I was able to sneak in and get a shot at about 50 yards. Was quite the rush to see a tree being thrashed and an elk rack waving around! Schism deserves a lot of credit for that bull and so hopefully I can return the favor sometime!
