There were multiple bulls taken out of unit 2 last year that were in the 370 to 390 class. Arguably the best year I’ve personally ever seen in NW corner for bulls. The elk were heavily concentrated on the few water sources that were available. This bull was living around 2 other bulls that were...
Feel free to PM me. I grew up in all that country and have helped and guided a good number of bulls in the NW corner. Actually helped a gov tag hunter in 2 last year.
Do some research on the 25 creedmoor. Theres a reason why it’s becoming extremely popular on the NRL and PRS scene. I built one last year and hunted with it.. the 133 Berger EOL is flat nasty. Killed an antelope, two deer and an elk with it last year from 220 to 762 yards.
22 creeds are a lot of fun. I’d highly recommend a 25 creedmoor. I’m not really sold on the 7 BC as someone who’s a reloader… if you want a solid performing short action/short barreled 7mm I’d go with a 7mm saum
If we are talking about hunting rigs the 3rd gen rangers are pretty bullet proof. I’ve always been an old Tacoma guy for hunting rigs and recently switched to a 2004 ranger with the 4.0 v6 in it and I’ve ran that thing hard all over the place this season. No complaints, just regular maintenance...
Grew up in a small town and small school so I was a three sport athlete. Football, Wrestling and Baseball.
Wrestling was always my love. Dad had me on the mat as soon as I could walk and started wrestling pee-wees at 4 years old all the way through high school. Probably should have continued on...
Although the accubond is ballistically “boring” it’s tried, true and proven. As much as I tinker with and shoot the high bc bullets like Berger and hornadys. If I could only have one bullet for the rest of time to hunt with it would be a nosler accubond
