Which factory 280AI rifle?
To be honest I haven't pulled it apart yet to see if there's anything obvious. I'm going to load a few to SAMMI spec length and see if that changes things. Currently they sit 20thou off the lands. Where I usually end up seating ABs -

If it helps my braked mk5 hunter recoils similar to my Sako 7-08. My son shot that at 13yrs old without an issue. -

I also have a mkV in 280AI... accurate with 160g AB or 150g ABLR. I tried several combinations but couldn't find a load that was hunting accurate with 150g Barnes TTSX or Hornady CX. ABs seem to shoot whatever rifle I put them through. One question.... feeding issues. Two in the mag it...
