Reduced Public Access in the Name of Safety

Yupp, it depends on the type of fire regime of the forest. The fuels have allowed the severity to increase these fires to scorched earth, negatively affecting the different kinds of forests around that could have been a natural breaking the fires in the first place. I'm not familiar with WA though.

Help with some do's and don'ts for M.T. six thirty

Hey everyone, I hate doing this but I'm planning for my fall archery hunt over in unit six thirty in m.o.n.t.a.n.a. I am doing the weird spelling to trick the ol Google machine. If anyone wants to just message me that would be great. Just looking to chat with someone familiar with the area to...

    End of Grizzly Delisting?

I think the ESA is as American as apple pie. It isn't perfect but I think getting rid of it would be a terrible mistake

Everyone’s Saying the Same Thing After Scientists 'Resurrect' the Dire Wolf

On what basis? We are so deep in our changing of this planet that this seems to be nearly insignificant in comparison

Everyone’s Saying the Same Thing After Scientists 'Resurrect' the Dire Wolf

This company is actually pretty smart, make a splash with the mammoth as their flagship to gain donors, then dire wolves (everyone loves dogs) while learning the techniques that actually could go on to help current wildlife that are in trouble. I think so far they have the genomes of about 4000...

This is why Bozeman is kind of annoying.

If it was a 5k you could get me to understand the word inclusive being used. To do an ultra marathon you have to have a lot of time (probably money) or live in a different way that allows you to compete. Plus you need to be genetically dispositioned to even do one of these in the first place...

    Interesting article.

It would be cool if Montana could get wildlife as a public resource into it's constitution

    Elon on Joe Rogan

If you have a niche it can be a great place to get information about various topics. Large and popular groups are notorious echo chambers and I would guess the ratio of bots would be staggeringly high if it could be shown.

    Interesting article.

From my perspective this article casted a wide net and it will take me some time to look into each subject. Maybe that was the point, to have a bunch of different angles. It never ceases to amaze me how complicated people make the wildlife topic.
