Who here has taken a mountain lion and what rifle or handgun did you use?

Black Bear Hunting for a New Hunter
I have never been hunting but a dream of mine is to go on a guided black bear hunt in NC. I have been shooting all my life whether in the military or as a SWAT officer and just for fun. I am a pretty good shot. The only thing is at the moment I only own a new Ruger made Marlin 1894 in .44 magnum...- SCCWP
