    In my opinion a good fitting shotgun is an enjoyable gun to shoot. Try several guns pick the one that fits you best. I use a Benelli Montefeltro and a Browing Silver in 20 gauge. I can't say one is better than the other.

    2 months till Opener for the King

    Labor Day weekend dove hunting here in Kansas, late October head to South Dakota for pheasant hunting, then back to Kansas for quail and several trips to western Kansas to pheasant hunt. We will also slip in a few duck hunts around the house. Can't wait till season is upon us.

    Suggestions for a quail gun?

    If you want a semi auto, you can't go wrong with a Benelli 20 ga Montefeltro. Something a little not a lot cheaper is a Franchi affinity, nice gun(my daughter has one). I like my Montefeltro, have one in 12 gauge and 20 gauge.
