Something I need to check into. I have an X-Bolt Stainless in 7mm-08 that I took to the range and shot the other day. Only the second time I ever fired it and was disappointed in the trigger. Should I try adjusting the factory on first ?
When I got bored during covid I built four. Out of those the 22 Nosler is cool but my dedicated 22 Long Rifle is my favorite. Ten year old grandson loves it.
Life’s too short to hunt with an ugly gun Some of mine :
3- original Browning BBR’s made by Miroku
1- Winchester 70 Featherweight.270
1- Original Rem 700 Mountain rifle in .280
1- SKB 685 12 gauge over/ under
Winchester Model 94 in 30-30 pre64.
Dad paid $55 in 1968 and wish I still had it. Sold it in 1981 for $125 and bought a REM 760 in 30-06 which I still have today.
I have the same issue with an old Vanguard I picked up a few years back . It’s chambered in 25-06 and no matter what I try to feed it, it’s all over the paper. I tried changing stocks, mounts and rings, and scope but nothing helps.
As far as I know there’s no limit on ownership, but buying and selling might .require a license in some states. However, don’t let the media find out if you have a stash, that’s the kind of story they drool over !
Hi All,
New member here from western Pa. I retired four years ago and spend my time hunting whitetail and fishing for trout, all the while teaching my 10 year old grandson everything I know.
