Non-Game Species Encountered in the Field
I had a bald eagle land on a limb right next to a deer stand I was sitting in one time. It stayed there for 15-20 seconds. It was impressive- Joe39

When have you shot game animals on the move? What rifles have you used? How close and how fast?
Where I lived you couldn’t use high powered rifles for many years. We used slug guns for deer hunting. Wasn’t uncommon to shoot a deer on the move if they were chasing does not running to hard. -

What was your first big game rifle, and do you still have it?
Mine was a ruger 243 took several whitetail with it and now my sons use it to do the same thing. Always been a good shooting gun
