Not my elk either. This will sting a little. It was on the grand mesa, arrowed by a brand new elk hunter who had only seen one running away a couple days earlier. I sent him the coordinates to my camp when he got ran out of 62 by that fire several years back. not even 600 yards from our camp. -

Hey where is my cow tag? I grabbed a 3rd rifle one , should be here by now. Probably tomorrow. Edit- Got it today! I always get a cow rifle tag, and don’t mind hunting in some snow, but last year was ridiculous. I left early due to more snow coming. The elk were smarter than me, they left... -

You have the tent and stove, now you have to engage in the time suck of cutting and gathering wood. I’m gonna keep that to a minimum this year. I have 6 40 lb bags of these. Just need kindling to get it started. 5 bucks a bag. -

Davis is a good choice. I usually take some homemade S hooks to hang stuff from the frame. -
