    KHunter ID Elk bowhunt 2023

Great detailed write up and associated photos. Way to grind until the end. Effort is always rewarded in some form. I really appreciate these type of hunt summaries. They are entertaining and educational. Good job!

    Whitetail Newb, please help!

I had a professional forester who was an avid deer hunter tell me many years age to pay attention to interior edges in the timber. Examples would be old clear cut edges and old fields that are succeding to woodlands. He said they would be buck magnets in November and I agree.

Sure signs of summer in your area

The mowing slowing down and the lawn going semi dormant are sure signs of summer.

Will a mother return to a bedded fawn?

They will find each other. It is best to let the fawn be. Once in a great while the fawn may have to be moved due to a work situation. The doe will seek out and find the fawn once the area calms down.

Colorado Unit 2 Bull Muzzy tag

I was the fortunate hunter that drew the Colorado Unit 2 muzzy tag last year referenced in the above posts. I'm not a big social media user so bare with me as I work up to 10 posts. I have written a hunt recap that I will be posting sometime in the future between a busy summer, family vacation...
