@Trial153 what outfitters have you used in the past? IMO a 40" rack with a huge body is a trophy when you bring that much meat back home. I have heard of some communist hunters that don't eat what they kill...- Sparty_On

2023 Garden!
Have any of you tried seeding cereal rye after early harvested crops (Mid aug to mid sept) and then cutting with psythe once the anthers on the heads appear the following spring? We plant crops that do okay without much N, anything viney, cucumbers, even tomatoes. Basically no til the starts in...- Sparty_On

That's dang cool. Not only are they interesting based on the geology/formation aspect, but the fact that someone sat down and crafted them eons ago. I am from Michigan and have found many in fields after getting worked and then rained on, in the very places I bow hunt now, albeit with a tad more...- Sparty_On

Agreed. Those things just flat out work especially within the ranges that, lets be honest, 90%+ of shots end up being. That being said, mine likes the darn cheap old school core-lokts about as good as anything -

Bears can cover serious ground in a blink. 10mm marketing vs the 44 mag power? I would want to connect on one good shot than hope you have time to put multiple less than effective shots into a mean and fast apex predator. Whatever you choose, practice and carry it accessible.
