Just returned frm a ML elk hunt and my outfitter is convinced optics on muzzle loaders will be gone by rule change by 2023 season.
Anyone have information on this change?
Where’s all the new brass gone for this cartridge?
Everywhere I look its out of stock or $2 each.
I shoot some Weatherby cartridges too and I remember when people thought that ammo was expensive.
Started with this old Weatherby Vanguard in 7mmRM
Scraped everything but the action and it came out like this.
I did not build this rifle, I simply specked it out to my guy that builds stuff. He stripped it down, threaded a Bartlein 24” 8.7 barrel, added the stock I wanted , muzzle brake...
After shooting whitetail and mule deer last season using lead core bullets I am switching to TTSX to try out next.
I’ve already started reloading.
I’ve loaded both 7828 and 4831 using Barnes’ data and their suggested
COL 3.170. Ive also tried COL 3.160.
Velocity in the 34’s, groups at .7...
So, I have been informed by Apple that my password for Hunt Talk has been exposed in a “data leak”.
All the details I got.
Dont know anything else.
Dont know who leaked what where.
Changed password.
just putting it out there
Ok guys I have real need for some knowledge.
I have a Tikka chambered in 22-250 that I want to rebarrel with a Proof and change the caliber.
I cant decide what caliber.
I read that all Tikka receivers are the same length. If that is true then it will take a LA cartridge or a SA.
I dont know...
I have a 1985 Rem 700 BDL Mountain Rifle chambered in .280.
22” pencil thin barrel and according to a person at Remington arms, 1/9.25 twist.
Always shot factory ammo 140’s-150’s. Im going to reload for it now I want one bullet to do all its jobs, Elk on down. What should it be?
Lots of .280...
